Government Hill is one of 26 historic districts established by the City of San Antonio and overseen by the Office of Historic Preservation. It is conveniently situated just minutes north of downtown and south of historic Fort Sam Houston, with access to both Broadway St. and IH-35. Government Hill offers a wide variety of housing opportunities as well as historically commercial corridors along North New Braunfels and Broadway St.
